Europe 2008

As luck would have it I get to spend my summer this year in Europe. Although we are just going to Patrick's home it is still travelling to me. We had a brief stop in England and spent time with Irene and Dave who took us to London and Oxford. Now we are in the most eastern part of Germany spending time with Patrick's family and friends.

Bautzen is a city that is over a thousand years old, much of it has been restored but there are still some places that lay in ruins - which is very typical here in the eastern part of germany.

this is in a historic town near by, and I can't pronounce the name. All the houses are protected and must be restored to the original style if purchased

A church up the road from Irene and Dave's, it looks like a castle but it is just a privately owned family church
